This will change your Life.
This will change your life.
Truth: You don’t have to do everything.
I read a post on Facebook the other day in which the writer said; if you’re making less than 100k a year, you don’t need an Assistant, a Housekeeper or a Virtual Assistant, you essentially just need to learn to manage your time better and improve your habits.
While spending your money (and your time) wisely is a no-brainer, it doesn’t mean you have to do everything. And it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t spend money on something you think will actually benefit you. Sometimes spending money in one area frees you up to focus on another area.
What it comes down to is this: what you believe benefits you and what doesn’t.
If working 50 hours a week and being your own housekeeper is where you desire to invest your time and energy; go for it. But if delegating the toilet cleaning so that it frees you up to focus on other things you feel is more important is something that works better for you; then do that.
There is no right answer, no set formula. There is no one-size-fits-all. You decide what works for you and live your life accordingly.
Being a superhuman and being able to do everything is not the mark of success. It’s a downward slope to exhaustion and frustration and a huge energy suck. Making choices on what you think is the best use of your time and energy - what is of most benefit to you and those around you; that is the key to having it all.
